About Heather Clinton

A fourth generation Realtor, Heather is a life-long resident of Madison and knows the shoreline community. Her father, Bruce Clinton, was the developer of Heatherwood in North Madison. From her youth, she had accompanied him in assessing the undeveloped lots and viewing the residential homes that were available for sale or development along the CT Coastline.

Heather’s business philosophy is founded on traditional values of hard work, attention to detail, follow through, and passion. She cares about all of her clients and ensures that their real estate needs are her priority whether they are buying, selling, or leasing a home. She is selective in who she represents to ensure her clients have optimal customer service. She is dedicated to customer loyalty, having earned a reputation for professionalism and trustworthiness.

She enjoys people and travel. She has studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain, American University in Cairo, Egypt, and volunteered to build a school in The Gambia, West Africa. Her passion is to make a difference in whatever project she is working on. She has had the privilege of working with Dr. Jane Goodall in piloting a youth program that focused on environmental concerns and currently volunteers her time for Habitat for Humanity.

Armed with a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College and BA from Simmons College, she is an agent of change who loves building relationships. Her work experience extends from social work, to government service and finally into the real estate industry. She was appointed as a court expert who negotiated delicate and highly litigious situations. Her abilities to act in an impartial manner, hear not only what is being said, but what is unspoken is an asset for any client. The most important ingredient to creating a smooth sale transaction is maintaining strong, workable relationships with flexible strategies, expectations, and solutions.
